The Rolex and National Geographic Perpetual Planet Amazon Expedition: From the Andes to the Atlantic


In April 2022, Rolex and its Perpetual Planet Initiative partner National Geographic launched a two-year series of scientific expeditions to study the Amazon’s waterways. One year after they set off, the seven teams of explorers and scientists making up the Perpetual Planet Amazon Expedition have begun to form a basis for understanding the world’s largest body of freshwater.
