Rolex Fastnet Race 2023 – 25 July – Endurance Test

The Rolex Fastnet Race is always an examination of determination and endurance. The 50th edition has been no exception. Throughout the largest fleet to ever participate, 430 yachts, crews have faced a variety of conditions from the extreme and arduous to the benign and frustrating. Weather plays a significant part in the outcome of any offshore yacht and the 2023 fleet has been tested thoroughly. Strong winds at the beginning have given way to lighter breeze, and for many the race is far from over. Crews have already had to bring to bear the full range of their sailing skills to move from one set of circumstances to another. While the overall winner will be feted for their achievement, for all entrants completing the course this year will be an accomplishment of which to be proud. The Rolex Fastnet Race is organized by the Royal Ocean Racing Club and has been partnered by Rolex since 2001. The race is a legendary sporting contest that demands the very best from crews hoping to complete the historic course. Discover more https://on.rolex.com/47ikc7l
