Francesco Piemontesi plays Liszt and Szymanowski in Florence

At the elegant 15th century Villa Di Maiano in Italy, Cartier celebrated the launch of its new High Jewelry collection with a piano recital from Francesco Piemontesi.

This moment of intense art and emotion was created through the presence of the Swiss musician who interpreted works by Schubert, Chopin, Liszt and Szymanowski.

The artist is playing on a piano dated from 1892, an opportunity to interpret 19th century scores in the characteristic timbres of the period of their creation.

“Francesco Piemontesi guides us through this labyrinth of sensitivity, he holds our hand (…). He never imposes anything, he only invites. At the end of this journey into the world of human emotions, we feel incredibly alive. Enriched and deeper. Happy and fulfilled.” Cyrille Vigneron
