The origins of an Autumn-Winter 2022-2023 motif

Discover how an ornate wall hanging that once decorated the winter garden of Monsieur Dior’s Paris home, and appeared in the background of many photographs, came to be one of the Autumn-Winter 2022-2023 inspirations for Maria Grazia Chiuri. Reproduced and reworked, the naturalistic motif was transformed into prints and embroideries that were translated through a multitude of techniques on several pieces.
