2021 Rolex Awards Laureate Documentary: Gina Moseley

For British explorer and caver Gina Moseley, a trailblazing scientist who has previously led three expeditions to Greenland, caves are like time machines that provide information about past climates and insights into climate change in the Arctic and beyond. In mid-2023, the 2021 Rolex Awards for Enterprise Laureate and her team will hike across then finally abseil into the world’s most northerly unexplored Arctic caves in Wulff Land, North Greenland. They will be seeking clues to the planet’s climatic past, drawing information about the likely impact on polar melting and improving future climate predictions.
