The event is organised by the Association Suisse de Concours Hippiques in partnership with the City of Lausanne and the Canton of Vaud, and will take place from 8 to 11 September 2016 on the Place Bellerive in Lausanne.
Through this partnership, the renowned watchmaking company LONGINES is honoured to extend its support for equestrian sports and to reinforce its global commitments.
With eight trials counting for the world rankings of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (also headquartered in Lausanne) ; the International Longines Horse-Show of Lausanne will feature a CSI 5*, coupled with a CSI 2* and international trials for young riders under the age of 25.
Both sporty and popular, the event will surely be a special moment of conviviality while hosting an international competition.
Longines President Walter von Känel explains: "We are proud of this new partnership in Switzerland that reinforces our brand’s traditional engagements in the world of equestrianism. We share common values with this sport, notably elegance and performance. We are thrilled to be able to support the International Longines Horse-Show of Lausanne with our timekeeping expertise."
Event Director Jean-François Danton adds: "It is fitting that the capital of international sport and Longines, key contributor to the equestrian world, meet in Lausanne, an accomplishment for the pleasure of both passionate fans and amateurs."
Equestrian talents and watchmakers will be present at Bellerive, hoping to impress an audience who will enjoy free access to the event…
